Got this idea from a deviant I watch, *LDLAWRENCE ~ he wanted to see how his friend "Lori" would look as an animated character ~

Well, this got me to thinking (I know, dangerous) and thought how about a project that can be an animated version of a deviant as his/her favorite Disney character or perhaps a cos-play version of an animated or live character!

Let's spend the summer doing this project and have feedback as to what you all think. The ideas can be added as the project progresses. This club, as well as the other clubs, depend heavily on member feedback to keep the clubs fresh and works-in-progress. Tina and I don't want to be "standard" clubs ~ we want to keep the flow of ideas going at all times!

There will be One (1) Point Participation and then Tina and I will pick a few for a bonus of Five (5) Extra Points each for a special feature.

Unlimited Entries but only One Point (1) will be awarded for Participation. Can be of yourself, your family, your friends, your dog.... whoever.

There will be a journal just for the project entries and be kept until moved into a "favorites" folder in the club's favorites gallery.

I'm excited and hope you all are, too. PLEASE let me know your ideas. I'm NOT easily offended and feel free to call me an idiot ~ I just want feedback.

An Avatar for the Club exhibiting holidays. One Point (1) Participation and Five Points (5) for the Avatar Used ~ Can be animated or static. Project Ends June 15th!

Entries will be placed in an entries journal here and at ~Holidays ~ No limit on entries but only One Point (1) will be awarded for Participation.



Are you just aching to share your knowledge? It could be how to draw Disney Eyes, how to draw Disney guys, how to shadow, how to animate... whatever!!! Please share your ideas with everyone else! All Tutorials will have their own journal as project entries. This Project will last two months or so and end around July 15th. One Point (1) Participation and Five Points (5) for the Feature Tutorial on the Tutorial Journal.

Tell a Story about visiting any Disney Park anywhere in the world. One (1) Point Participation and a Bonus Five (5) that will be a drawing from all the participants. Literature submissions can be made directly to the club, or put in the deviant's own gallery then submitted as a thumb for a thumb-share journal. See details here ~ [link] ~



2008 is going to be the year the club introduces Projects. The first ones, for a variety of Club Banners and stamps (for several clubs) were a huge success. Projects will be similar to Contests but there won't be member voting (all done by judges), just lots of ways to earn "credits" via a "point system".

The Point System

Points will be awarded as follows for ALL Projects:

One (1) Point for Participation
Meaning ~ whether a deviant enters once or five times per project, he/she will receives one point only for participation
Five (5) Points for a Winning Entry in Each Project
Meaning ~ there may be more than one project going on at any given time; ergo, deviants can enter and/or participate in each separate Project

How to Win ~ the Rules

Projects may include, but not be exclusive to, =disneydeviants *DisneyDreamers *disney-parkhoppers *DisneyAnimatorDreams and *The-Disney-Directory

Each point (credit) will be worth One (1) US Dollar (for those outside the US 3-month subs are $8.00 so that would require 8 points; also, two small prints or a large magnet with postage can be around the same price) ~ Points may be accumulated throughout the year and turned in when a total of eight (8) points have been earned or saved to turn-in for larger subscriptions, a print account, print or other item. Accumulated points should be "turned-in" by January 31, 2009.

All projects will be Disney-related somehow. They will require all entries to be "G" or "PG" rated as this is a family site and NO mature-rated deviations will be accepted.

All project entries must be the work of the deviants. It doesn't matter if it is literature, photography, digital or traditional work, it has to be the deviant's own work. No images from Google! Legitimate stock is fine, as long as credit goes back to the stock site. Any brushes or textures used from dA must be credited. What I am trying to say is no screenshots from You-Tube, Video Games, Movies or whatever. All work must comply with the rules of dA.
